Activity Objects
Adaptive Curriculum provides access to a rich library of Math and Science Adaptive Curriculum Activities.
Virtual Experiments
Virtual experiments are one type of science activity found in the Adaptive Curriculum program. The student interacts with these experiments in realistically rendered surroundings, which are excellent substitutes when the experiments might be dangerous in real life or when they require costly equipment. In all cases, virtual experiments help students develop standards-required scientific inquiry skills.

Problem-Based Learning
Some activities are designed to engage and challenge students to learn the subject matter and then apply problem-solving skills to real world problems. All problems are selected from real life and/or career situations and follow Polya's problem-solving cycles.
Activity Sheets
The optional student worksheets provide a place for students to record information and to think more about the activity through a series of questions. The worksheets become a written record of learning that students can later review and share with their parents. The worksheets also can become an additional assessment component for the teacher. The teacher edition activity sheets provide expected student responses.

Formative Assessment
Activity sheets can be used for formative assessment noting how students are learning and then use this information to make beneficial changes in instruction. In addition, dynamically generated reports can be issued from some activities, and these reports can be included in student portfolios.

Realistic Visualizations
Adaptive Curriculum Activities contain realistic, engaging visuals that attract and maintain student interest and involvement.
