Scottsdale, Arizona - Sebit, LLC, developer of Adaptive Curriculum, has been recognized by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) as the CODiE Award Education Newcomer of the Year. "Receiving this honor from SIIA helps support our efforts to provide teachers and students with effective, engaging instruction, which will help students develop the skills they need to remain globally competitive in the 21st century."
Established in 1986, the CODiE Awards showcase the industry's finest products and services from the most innovative technology companies worldwide. The CODiE Awards hold the distinction of being the only peer-recognition awards program of its kind in the industry, providing a unique opportunity for companies to earn the praise of their competitors. This year, more than 1,100 CODiE Award nominations were submitted by 600 companies in a total of 75 categories, from which 340 distinguished finalists were selected by a panel of expert judges.
"The CODiE Awards recognize those companies providing the best new technology products and services across a broad array of industries," said SIIA President Ken Wasch. "The awards and their winners are a testament to the power of technology to deliver innovative solutions to American businesses and consumers. SIIA congratulates all of the CODiE Award winners and nominees, whose innovation is essential for continuing America's leadership in the global knowledge economy."
The 2008 CODiE Awards were presented at a gala event held on May 20 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. Pat Walkington, Vice President of U.S. Sales & Marketing for Sebit, LLC, accepted the Education Newcomer of the Year CODiE Award.
