Sebit, LLC Honored with 2008 EDDIE Award

Scottsdale, Arizona - Sebit, LLC has been honored with a 2008 Education Software Review Awards (EDDIES) for its online learning system Adaptive Curriculum.  Now in its 13th year, the annual awards program is presented by ComputED Learning Center, and targets innovative and content-rich programs and websites that provide parents and teachers with the technology to foster educational excellence.

"We're thrilled that Adaptive Curriculum has been honored for its high-quality, engaging content in math and science," said Pat Walkington, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Sebit. "Students' learning behaviors have changed dramatically in the last century, and Adaptive Curriculum offers educators the interactive instruction they need to capture their students' attention in math and science."

The winners for this year's EDDIE Awards were selected from titles submitted by software publishers around the world.  Products were chosen based on academic content, potential for broad classroom use, technical merit, subject approach, and management system.

TheComputED Learning Center and award program review stated: "Adaptive Curriculum is an outstanding online system that uses highly enhanced 3-D visuals and animations to engage middle grade students in learning applied science and math.  The program offers a rich library of math and science Activity Objects, allowing children to test various strategies, manipulate simulations and practice concepts related to real-world scenarios."
