Rookie of the Year Award

Scottsdale, Arizona - Sebit, LLC, developer of Adaptive Curriculum, is the recipient of the EdNET 2008 Rookie of the Year Award.  The Heller Reports, a QED company and leading provider of education market news and events, announced the winners of this year’s EdNET Industry Awards at the 20th Annual EdNET Conference on Sept. 16 in Boston.  The annual awards program commends businesses and non-profit organizations that have made important contributions to the education industry through their products and services.

A panel of leading education industry experts selected the winners for the EdNET 2008 Industry Awards, which are coordinated by The Heller Reports and Quality Education Data (QED), a Scholastic company and leading provider of integrated marketing services for the pre-K through higher education markets.

The EdNET Rookie of the Year Award honors the most promising start-up venture that is less than two years old and has the greatest potential to be a significant player in the education industry in the coming years.  Sebit, LLC was selected as the award recipient based on several criteria:

  • Holds the promise to be seen in five to 10 years as a significant player in the education industry by providing the foundation for a continuing and successful enterprise.
  • Developed a significantly new product, service or business strategy within the education industry that is deemed to have exemplary potential to grow the nominated business or non-profit to substantially greater revenues and/or impact on education.
